Wardle Anderson requires a committed cornet player to complement our hardworking team. The position is negotiable for front-row and back-row seats. Rehearsals are Monday and Wednesday evenings 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM in our bandroom. We welcome students and enjoy a strong association with Wardle Academy, a secondary school with an extremely strong musical history.

As current 1st section champions (North West), we work hard to make music of a high standard. This year, we have done our fair share of competitions and concerts including North West Area, National Championships, Wychavon Festival of Brass, Whit Friday, Durham Miners Gala and much more. The band is very friendly and inclusive with a wide range of players.
